Lead with relevance
Recruiters typically scan the top third of the first page before deciding to read on. Put your current title, a two-line summary of your focus, and your most relevant skills there.
Write accomplishments, not duties
Replace 'responsible for reporting' with what the reporting produced. Each bullet should answer: what did you do, how, and what was the outcome?
Keep formatting clean and parseable
Use a single-column layout, standard section headings, and a common font. Avoid tables, text boxes, and graphics that applicant tracking systems can misread.
Proofread ruthlessly
Consistent tense, consistent date formats, and no typos. Ask someone outside your field to read it — if they cannot tell what you do, tighten the summary.
